  • Myofascial Remedial Massage

Myofascial release is a massage therapy that treats skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles. It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.

  • Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue. It may also promote faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.

  • Sports Massage

Sports Massage is inclusive of a recovery Massage after a big event where the focus is on flushing and working through the muscles to improve recovery times.

  • Dry Needling

  • Graston Technique / Gua Sha (ISTAM)

Gua sha is most often used to relieve muscle and joint pain. Conditions of the muscles and bones are known as musculoskeletal disorders. Some examples include back pain, tendon strain, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Practitioners claim that gua sha can also benefit the immune system and reduce inflammation.

  • Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES)

Microcurrent therapy (MCT) uses a microcurrent primarily for the treatment of delayed healing, damaged tissue, scars, pain and sensitisation. When tissue is damaged, the electrical resistance in that tissue increases and limits normal bioelectric activity in that area. MCT is reported to restore this and improve the healthy function of the local cells.
